A proposed protest by the Bharatiya Kisan Union (BKU) and other khap leaders to support the wrestlers who are demonstrating against Wrestling Federation of India (WFI) chief Brij Bhushan Singh has been postponed. The protest was scheduled to take place at Jantar Mantar in Delhi on June 9.
It was called off after the protesting wrestlers met Union Home Minister Amit Shah on June 3, said BKU leader Rakesh Tikait.
