There’ve been protests against the construction of the Adani port project in Kerala’s Vizhinjam for over 100 days. While the construction began in 2015, the agitation was intensified in August this year and has been led by the Thiruvananthapuram Latin Catholic Church. The LDF government, however, has refused to halt the construction, which is a key demand of the protesters.
