In this vlog, I’m walking solo around Colombo, the capital of Sri Lanka. Sri Lanka has been in the news a lot lately because of its ongoing economic crisis and subsequent political crisis in 2022. In this video, I’ll show you what it’s like on the streets of the capital city of Sri Lanka, talk to some people about the present situation, and explore some of the city’s main touristic sites. If you’re interested in visiting Sri Lanka as a tourist but not sure if it’s safe to do so, this video will hopefully give you a look at the reality on the ground in the country in 2023.
